Thankful, grateful, energized. These are three words that sum up the last few weeks for me. Joyful Blooms hit the ground running in November by being part of an amazing wedding at the El Adobe de Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. Rachel and Lance's wedding was beautiful and romantic. I am so excited to share the pieces that I was able to create for their big day. These images are courtesy of the amazing Maya Lora Photo.

The palette for the wedding was soft whites, nude and peach tones. These wooden planter boxes provided a rustic touch during the ceremony. They pulled double duty at the sweetheart table later at the reception along with the greenery garland.

Rachel craved the contrast of deep red Black Magic roses to the soft pink tones. The black centers of the anemones carried the light and dark theme throughout the bouquets. The result was a beautiful mix of textures and colors.

The flower crowns, created with spray roses and myrtle for the bridesmaids, were simple and classic and lightweight. The bride's crown was elegant; showcasing the rich blood red color of the roses.

We cannot forget about the dapper gentlemen. The boutonnieres tied in the with bouquets and featured pink spray roses, hypericum berries and eucalyptus. Lance's matched Rachel's bouquet with a deep red ranunculus and white anemone.

Once Lance and Rachel said 'I Do', the aisle arrangements were moved to the dinner tables with soft tea lights and wood slices to help bring the outdoors in.

This was the first day of Rachel and Lance's forever story. I am thankful that I got to be a part of it.
